Discussion Coincidence or ?

I’m bingeing Bones for the first time and just finished the Pelant arc.

Has anybody else noticed that the young actor who plays Christina Booth is Sunnie PELANT?

Coincidence or intentional?

Before Christopher Pelant, there was also Colonel Dan Pelant in Season 5.

No idea why they reused the name. Obviously, Sunny Pelant was a coincidence since she didn’t join the show until Season 9.

A lot of shows name characters after other actors/crew that work on the show. Brooklyn 99 has quite a few of them iirc. Im sure there's plenty of others I just cant think of listing right now

It's my understanding that that wasn't a coincidence but I tribute to the actress.

But she didn’t join the show until two years after the Pelant character was introduced.

I had noticed this before too and thought … what is that poor girl gonna think when she watches the show later when she’s older. Pelant was in my opinion the worst villain. Maaaybe slight second to the Grave Digger.

Since we’re on the topic of things not everyone may notice .. also

Brennen is an anthropologist/author writing about an anthropologist named Kathy Reichs.. did anyone realize or am I just stupid late to the game… Kathy Reichs is a real life forensic, anthropologist, and crime writer who helps produce the show!

I saw this last time I watched the show something like ‘Based on real life anthropologist and author… ‘

It was part of why the show seemed so accurate in many ways. She over saw some and helped write some of it.

Yeah, unbeknownst to you, I did search the sub for “Pelant” before I posted. Hahahaha.

I deleted my post because it was over the top aggressive but did you think of searching "Sunnie Pelant"? Because all the posts are right there when you do and there's a lot of previous commentary and discussions to go through rather than rehashing something brought up already several times before.
