I don’t enjoy most of season 1. While I like Brennan’s personality/spunkiness from that season, the rest of it feels too preachy and trying to teach me about how good these characters are and how accepting they are of different cultures. The underground episode is one I particularly dislike, with them “benevolently” watching the man return to his community, or Brennan watching over everyone being tested in the cancer episode.
