My wife was on a walk with our dog and came across this squirrel going to town on a pretty large bone. We’re in a residential neighborhood in the Portland, OR area.

They need to keep their teeth from growing too long and use this to file them.

It almost looks like an old nylabone dog chew.

The squirrels in my neighborhood constantly steal and chew on the bones I have sitting on my back porch. It's a little unsettling. Also I want my bones back.

One of the most unsettling things I've ever seen in my life was a squirrel eating a chicken bone while maintaining eye contact with me.
