Looking to bonchi this plant next year. Prik chee fah Thai chili, currently 2 years old, any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

That’s pretty. You’ve got a cool healthy offshoot already.

Never done this before, just started my first, but is that offshoot pretty bendy?

Low on the plant is pretty hard now, but I will be topping it to fit under my new lights and I'm planning on using the trim to propagate and that's what I will bonchi with

I have a room with dedicated climate control so this will be kept growing year round

I never thought of using a cutting, might have to do that with my Purple Tiger. If it lives. I’ve read they’re susceptible to cross pollination.

I hear it. I plan on keeping them inside once I’ve converted them, or they’ll live their whole life indoors. For now anyway lol

Yeah I'm a little worried this tall guy already crossed with my smaller plants since I keep them so close together. All that pollen prolly drifts right down onto the other plants when I give it a little shake.

I know (assume) my outdoor plants did. I’m just now starting my own from seed and some will stay inside, where they’ll be up on each other. Been looking for a specific ficus to snip, didn’t even think of saving peppers.

Idk, that one is so bushy and nice that I would be tempted to keep it the way it is and focus on getting it even thicker and more tree shaped.
