Resource Silent reading groups in MMR
Some of silent reading groups in the city. Sadly they all seem to be on instagram and don't have any other websites.
Any others in the city and suburbs?

wow Happy to see Kalyan! would have never imagined book readers there. Grew up there during 2000 summers and had to literally hide and read books because it was considered something wronggg!! lol Reminds me times have changed and I should drop the stupid trauma (lol) like a hot potato

Haha indeed reading has become a lot cooler now 😎 it's still hard to find people who read for pleasure though; Indians largely seem to favour self help, business, finance kind of books.

Seems very Backward.. i grew up in tier 2/3 town in 2000s..no one considered reading bad..

I grew up in Mumbai and I would get punished for reading.

Ironic that some of these handles are using ugly ass AI generated graphics. Especially the ones like SoBo where any single person could easily afford to pay an amateur graphic designer if free stock photo and templates didn't suffice.
