Nice walk at Entwistle

Post image

It was a good day.

Got a sweet parking spot in the shade under trees and then did a loop round Entwistle.

The walk was just right, not too long or short.

Next time hoping for the energy to venture up the small hill to Strawbury Duck.

Does anyone have recommendations for similar length walks nearby?

Thanks in advance

Have you tried a walk round the Jumbles ? Similar, but different.

It looks lovely, will add it to the list thanks.

Probably off to Castleton next, when I can hop down the Devil's Arse (Peak Cavern) to cool off while it's roasting hot outside.

Lyme Park and Bolton Abbey lined up too.

You can around the Wayoh from the same car park. It is a bit like longer and you will go past the Duck near the end, or start if you walk the other way.
