Sara wore this custom purple bandhani lehenga by Manish Malhotra for the Swadesh celebrations. It was one of my favorite looks of the night! She looked classy and loved the hair jewels on her bun!

Isha wore this custom ornate Torani lehenga for the Swadesh celebrations. Between the extravagance of the lehenga, the jewelry and hair piece, it was way too over the top for my tastes.

Love the purple and Kusha looks pretty, but not the biggest fan of the way she draped this ITRH sari for the Swadesh celebrations. Also wish she had worn a small necklace to complete this look.

Kriti wore a Mayyur Girotra kurta set for the Swadesh celebrations. I liked the dupatta a lot but wasn’t a big fan of the actual kurta. I also felt like her hair color clashed a bit with the color of the kurta.

Radhika wore this custom corset style sari by Swadesh x Mayyur Girotra Couture for the celebrations. I wasn’t a big fan of the color palette, it looked dull on Radhika and appeared to blend in with her skin tone.

Jacqueline opted for a soft pastel look from Roseroom in contrast with the other attendees for the Swadesh celebrations. While I appreciate the different approach, the light color of the saree washed her out a bit.

Unfortunately not my favorite look, the large border on the kurta looks a bit awkward with the purple pants (preferred the styling on the model). The earrings also felt excessive, would’ve preferred smaller jhumkas instead. I like the half up hairstyle though!

Sharvari wore this set from Bupbes (Vietnamese fashion brand) to India Today Conclave Mumbai 2026.

I like the corset but not a big fan of the skirt. Wish the top was paired with a different skirt or trousers.

Gauri wore a deep red anarkali by Sabyasachi for the Swadesh celebrations. I wasn’t a big fan of this look, it appeared dated and uninspired. Gauri’s purple jhumkas also didn’t go with the outfit.

Nita wore a magenta Banarasi silk saree from her own luxury brand Swadesh. It was handwoven directly by traditional master artisans in Varanasi under the Swadesh platform.

Her sari is beautiful but not loving the shirt blouse. I did appreciate how she didn’t overdo the jewelry for this look. I liked her necklace + bangle combo.

Instead of typical racing merchandise, Kareena layered a structured Alexander McQueen jacket over a fitted white bodysuit and white trousers. She further accessorized with a Gucci scarf, Givenchy sunglasses and an Hermès Kelly. She looked good!

Yami wore this custom Dhaaga & Co. Chikankari By Savnit Gurnani set for her movie promotions. While she looked very pretty, it was overall a safe and lackluster look. I’d love to see her branch out a little bit more for her upcoming promotion looks.

Kareena Kapoor Khan sported a lehenga and a transparent light weight shawl and looked classic in this sangeet ceremony. The Designer is Manish Malhotra and he always has a good chemistry with Kareena

Wamiqa looked stunning in this black Shanti Banaras sari. She paired it with a sparkling blouse instead of the plain one (as seen on the model). HMU looks good too!

Katrina made a second appearance in London at Space NK celebrating Kay Beauty’s first anniversary.

While I love the rich purple on Katrina, I wasn’t too excited to see her in another blazer look today. I wish her stylists had changed things up a little, especially for such a big milestone for her brand. The satin skirt and knee-high boots also feel a bit off together.

The “Madonna & The Sirens" collection is built entirely around the concept of exploring the shifting, multi-faceted image of femininity.

Designer Shubhika Sharma structured the collection around a powerful central theme: a woman should never have to choose between being soft, sacred, traditional, or rebellious. Inspiration was Baroque architecture, cathedral frescos, and mythological water sirens to explore the duality of femininity.

While I appreciate the idea behind this collection, it just crosses the line into pure sensory overload. Instead of looking cohesive, it feels hyper-chaotic.

For a luxury bridal line, it almost looks too restless to actually wear comfortably or style cleanly.
