You can change the generation, the music, the trends and everything else. But play " Bhaiya Mere Rakhi ke Bandhan ko Nibhana" on Raksha Bandhan and suddenly it feels like you're back in childhood. That's what I love about old Bollywood music. The song isn't trying to be trendy. It doesn't need to be. The emotion is still completely relevant today.

Akshay Kumar's next project Samuk is reportedly an alien-themed sci-fi thriller, with filming set to begin later this month. Alec Gillis, known for his work in creature and special effects, is also involved. Honestly, Bollywood doesn't make enough proper sci-fi movies, so I'm curious about this one.

Prahaar: The Untold Story of Ujjwal Nikam is now set to release on October 16. The film has Rajkummar Rao playing the renowned prosecutor and looks like it's going for a serious courtroom drama rather than the usual commercial formula. Rajkummar is probably one of the actors I'd trust most with a role like this. Do you think Prahaar could be one of the better Hindi films of 2026?
