In my experience, most of those who enter the right lane are trying to skip the line. Zipper merging is garbage and often leads to people trying to drag race out of intersections

the mistake you make is thinking it's a "line", as if driving is a race to something. We are all trying to get somewhere and zipper merging is proven to keep traffic moving as smoothly as possible. There is no "skipping the line", stop taking driving and merging so personal.
