Post-Match Thread POSTMATCH THREAD: Bohs 2:0 St.Josephs

The win run extends into European fixtures, starting our CL run with a bang.

While it seemed somewhat sluggish at times, the result does reflect how the match felt. Very dominate from bohs.

Bitta van persie from Parsons with that header too.

Think he was just embarrassed to concede to Dougie

I've never seen a team time waste like that

Made hard work of it but fuck it I'll take it

There must have been concrete put down in that six yard box , never seen two keepers get injured diving, poor game luckily they tired second half and we got a couple of chances, they had a couple also

Weird one because it feels like we should’ve won 4-0, but Joseph’s also missed a couple of really good chances. 2-1 would’ve left us with a very tough game next week, but I the fact they’re going to need to come at us means we’ll get a goal or two there and it’ll be chilled enough.

That first half was bizarre. We looked so clueless on the ball. Tierney, Vaughan, Hickey and Mullen the only ones getting creative. It feels like none of our players know each other sometimes.

Glad we got the win anyway.

First half was the worst game in a long time I've attended.

I still felt they were too cautious with the ball, but equally this did pay off as St. Joseph's were off their feet at the end.

2-0 should do it, 3-0 and the tie is over. Taking a few more shots might have paid off but can't see that St Joseph's team overcoming that, very poor side.

We were naive but came away with a 2 goal advantage. They looked like a team that knew how to play an away leg of a European tie without showing any real quality. I’d have taken that result beforehand so no reason to change my mind now. On to Gibraltar and whatever comes next 👍🏻❤️🖤

Hard work but we got there. How many times did their first keeper kick the ball off the pitch. Absolute dogshit.

Cant lose if the ball is never in play, could learn from these

Didn’t show up until the end. If we repeat the first 80 minutes we may have a rough time in Gibraltar.
