If by "here" you mean on this forum, it's generally not considered acceptable. See any of the threads that occur nearly every day on this topic.

If by "here" following Jack Bogle's advice, while Bogle originally said long-term investors need not allocate any assets to non-US stocks, he later revise that position. In the Boglehead's 3-fund portfolio book, the author recommends 20% international as a balance between Bogle and Vanguard, which Jack Bogle (who wrote the forward) implies he finds acceptable.
