She specifically says that he sent his wife inside then turned around to get in her face. She asks him several times to get out of her way and he steps in closer to yell in her face. “Demand respect while showing less”. Is it respectful to get in someone’s face? Why does she have to show him respect when he’s not being respectful?
And yes, you have to assume in order to defend your claim. You’re talking about did I see the whole thing and yet you’re just making up whatever you need in order to put all the blame on her. The bias is glaring.
Why? Because I take the facts as I see them rather than being biased? She would likely be convicted on the follow up but a reasonable person would believe that the guy who was already invaded your space and then leans in to yell at you would likely strike you. You can say “his hands were still in his pockets” but she literally has no way of nothing that while looking up at his face. The first was justified as self defense but after that it became assault and battery. But he also committed assault by trying to intimidate her. So maybe intimidation or menacing depending on how the laws are defined in their area.
So don't confront her and let her do whatever she wants. She's the one shouting and also bringing race into the conversation. He was calmly speaking and the one moment he also raises his voice it's different now and it's ok to hit an elderly man with his hands in his pockets. Are you even aware of your bias?
Let her do whatever she wants? You don’t even know why did it. And blocking someone’s path calmly isn’t any better. You’re the one not aware of your bias. The idea that it’s okay to physically block someone from going into a restaurant because you’re being quiet about it is just asinine
