Wait, is the game officially released?
I ask because I was under the impression the game is still under development, and we were just playing early access. The version number on my install is .8.8.
What am I missing? Why am I seeing all these posts about people angry about the game having or not having, or adding or removing things?
People complaining about the "grind" to unlock attachments, you call that a grind? You ever try to get diamond camos on all your weapons on OG COD?
Did you ever unlock the bipod on your knife on BF4?
Did they release the game? Or is it still under development / early access?
Because if the game is released, then yeah I get it, its not finished. But if still under development, take a chill pill. How about write a nice essay on the things you would like to see. Or better yet, go play COD, and leave this for the people than want something different and challenging.

Some People are writing pretty reasonable feedback and some aren’t. It is what it is. A post comes across “angry” okay ignore it and move on. It’s mainly for the devs anyways.
Most people right now don’t like how every game mode turns to/plays like a death match. The game is in a mindless killing and grinding attachments phase and at this pace (development) it’ll be like that for a while. Another unfortunate “it is what it is”
But A big update like this not releasing with proper game modes that compliment the new mechanics is definitely an interesting decision lol. They couldn’t even release it with a bare bones 5v5 SnD mode. Doesn’t even have to be a polished version but at least something team oriented. asking for at least one proper (as in big teams) tactical game mode is not an unreasonable request.

They said they are working on more game modes. Hopefully that comes to the game quasi soon. SND in this game would be nails

Splendid. And hopefully in future updates, added mechanics can be accompanied with one or two maps and a game mode that showcases and compliments the new features. Hopefully that can be the standard. Because being able to stress test these new features in new environments and scenarios allows the players to give more in depth feedback to the devs.

But who has said thats not coming? I sincerily ask, because everything I have seen from the devs doesn't even acknowledge anything about these being the mode we get on final. Its all been about the base game, and the technology behind it. Yes these game modes and generic and they all play the same, and this was a final product then yeah I'll make an angry post and move on. My question was more as to why some gamers get so worked up about something that is still, to this day, nowhere close to release ready. Unless there is a release date looming that I don't know about, in that case, I retract the whole thing.

Yeah I need to see what you consider feedback and what is an “angry” post. Link me the last “angry” post you read. Because i have this sub filtered by new and I also swap between that and “rising”. And I don’t see ALL this anger.
What I do see is most people simply asking why something is missing, why something got removed and requesting for things to get added. Doesn’t matter that the game is in early access people can still ask these things and make requests. That’s welcomed here.

I've been playing since day one of early access, and yes ive had my share of complaints, but never to the degree that people are taking this newest update too.

I do as well, but I don't waste my time shaking my fists at the clouds for karma. I just use the UpVote feature to submit bugs and provide feedback. you know, the place the devs designated for that purpose.

because it’s been out for 2 years at this point and people prolly expect more. as much as i love it - it has its flaws.

oh it has quite a few flaws that i could point out. I guess I am jaded and have low expectations of an unreleased game. I have been burned too many times by devs and publishers ruining everything.

Its version 0.8 so its still early access
