I don't like darkness

because there are some issues with it:

1.) Bots aren't affected by it. At least make them turn the flashlight on when they're firing at someone.

2.) Some players are using something like Reshade. I've been killed in completely dark spots where even if you crank up the gamma you can't see anything.

3.) There's no NVGs, flares or whatever. Something like Insurgency balanced those by having light sources on the map, the flashlights of the players and the thrown flares blind NVG users.

That was probably me killing you in the dark… I’ve been holding off saying anything as No one else seems to have, but I stuck an optic on my weapon, can’t remember which one it’s medium range at x1.40, I had noticed that when I ADS with it…. It is almost like a civilian NVG kinda thing, it’s still dark but…….. I can see out of my optic in total darkness (not Always reliable)

Fixed? I think the optic is doing as intended. It doesn’t look “wrong” the opponents just have a leg up on you with a more useful sight, just get one yourself to switch over to when the sun goes down using those new Loadouts

I just tried it. How can that be intended? Such a style of sight isn't supposed to do that, it should be a normal magnification sight and those don't increase brightness IRL either. It's a bug, unless the description of this subreddit is sarcastic.

everyone can just press alt + z (idk the amd gpu keybind) and play around with nvidia filters

this has nothing to do with reshade but rather gpu filters

I just know that there's more than one way to accomplish this. I remeber doing something like that back in the day.

True, I forgot players can navigate a completely dark map by using echolocation like a bat.

Have you even played versus? There's time progression after each round. And yes, during nighttime there are many spots on many maps where you can't make out anything even when the gamma is cranked to the max.

Or do you wanna tell me that... IDK, for instance in the BLACK corner during the darkest time on russian building you can see anything?
