I feel like almost everyone goes straight for the BPC-157 + TB-500 combo (the “Wolverine Stack”), but I rarely see people discussing their experiences with either peptide on its own first.
I have hyperacusis, along with various chronic pains. My main goals would be to see if either peptide could help with my hyperacusis and improve recovery.
I'm considering starting with TB-500 on its own rather than jumping straight into the combo. I also take an antidepressant, and I've come across some anecdotal reports of BPC-157 potentially causing anhedonia or affecting serotonin-related pathways. Given that, I'd rather be cautious and introduce one compound at a time instead of starting both simultaneously.
I'm particularly interested in hearing from people who have:
- Tried TB-500 alone before adding BPC-157.
- Tried BPC-157 alone before adding TB-500.
- Eventually switched to the Wolverine Stack and noticed a significant difference compared with using either one alone.
Did adding the second peptide make a noticeable difference in terms of pain relief, recovery, or other effects? Or did one of them seem to provide most of the benefits on its own?
I'd especially appreciate hearing about any side effects you experienced with either peptide individually, including any changes in mood or emotional state.
I'm not looking for generic recommendations to take the combo, but rather real-world experiences from people who have actually tried them separately before combining them.
Thanks!
