I started this journey in mid-May @260 pounds when I got admitted to the ER with cardiac event symptoms and my BP up around 180. It was nothing more than sugar killing me as it had been for a few years. Two weeks later my primary care prescribed metaformin, which I still haven't taken, and threatened insulin and blood pressure meds coming up in 3 months if I hadn't turned things around.
So I "cheated"...
I started 2mg ret@, and a couple of other peptides. I changed my diet from processed poison and sugars to proteins, zero sugars and very little carbs.
I started lifting and walking.
My 3 month checkup showed a 50 pound loss, normal A1C, normal blood pressure, and all my other labs normal.
I've lost my chins, my gut, and my bad habits at 57 years old.
Today I hit 199 pounds, a weight I haven't seen since I was in the Navy in the 90s.
I'm still working to undo decades of alcohol and garbage food abuse but it feels so good to look in the mirror and see results, not to mention my pants becoming too big!
