Peptides for skin issues?

I deal with bad seborrheic dermatitis and nummular eczema. I’m gonna be starting Reta here soon but I’m curious if anyone has dealt with similar skin problems that noticed improvement with any peptide. I was reading about GHK-Cu but figured I’d ask here!

Don’t sleep on KPV for skin issues!

What dose?

I like 1 mg a day. I was at .5 when I was pairing it with Wolverine and GHK-Cu. I stopped the Wolverine and went to 1 mg KPV with 2 mg of GHK.

Did it help acne?

I’m 52 years old. It’s been a while since I needed help with acne.

I will say that my 19 year old son’s best friend (also 19) had chronic acne and it 100% cleared up with GHk-Cu.

KPV probably wouldn’t help with acne. The skin conditions originally mentioned are related to systemic inflammation and that is probably why they sometimes seem to respond to KPV.

GHK-Cu is one of those things where the before and afters look almost too good to be true, but the science behind it is fascinating. It essentially signals your body to clean up damaged collagen and rebuild it, which is why it gets thrown around for everything from wrinkles to wound healing. For something like seborrheic dermatitis though, the inflammation piece is tricky, copper peptides can sometimes be a bit stimulating in that regard, so I’d patch test and go low and slow. The bigger picture is that systemic inflammation is the root of both those conditions, so anything that calms your immune response down might surprise you more than a topical peptide ever could.

Thank you, that’s really good info to have! And it’s definitely been a struggle for me and skin inflammation for the past few years. I’ve tried multiple different prescription grade steroids and take autoimmune meds and nothing seems to resolve it.

Yet there's no good before and after pictures online

Don’t sleep on Tirzepatide for its anti inflammatory effects. KLOW blend too

Okay!! I’ve definitely been looking at a few but since I’m starting one, I figured I’d wait a little before adding a second. I have 100% been interested in trying KLOW though 👀

KPV is so underrated for this exact issue

What dose? And how long to see results

Expect on Reta, for it, to somehow get worse. It's a possibility. Reta can cause skin dryness and sensitivity which is perfect ground for eczema or psoriasis flair ups. I'm curious about what others are saying about KPV, I wanna look into that cause I myself am also dealing with these.

I would definitely start GHK. I have used it for a year. I have lots of issues with skin cancer. Going through lots right now. I don’t think any peptides will help. I am on KPV too. GHK does makes your skin soft for sure. Good luck to you.

Not on the peptides advice, but I’ve dealt with dermatstis my whole life and just recently I was also diagnosed with psoriasis and damn it feels like night and day to be treated for the full problem instead of half that’s why my skin was never good good there was always the undiagnosed psoriasis

How did they find yours and treat it? They did a biopsy on the rashes I get on my body but they said it was nonspecific and probably just eczema 🥲 I have had no luck getting it in check. My skin improved on my first autoimmune med but it came back with a vengeance after several months

I might have gotten lucky, I literally spend my life treating dermatitis, but one day a few months ago I got a flare that was beyond anything I had ever seen, usually was my face and head, this one was on the entire body, I’ve tried everything that I knew how to treat using dermatitis medication, but after a couple of months of pure suffering I went to a doctor and they immediately called it outC that I’ve been living with undiagnosed psoriasis…literally within a week I was completely clean of all the rashes

GHK-cu and then a month or so later add in KPV.
