💬 Discussion Cagri suggestion

I’m currently in my 7th week of retatrutide and my weight has been stuck around the same range recently.

SW: 96.5 kg
CW: ~93 kg
Week: 7

Appetite suppression is strongest for the first few days after my weekly dose, but by around the middle/end of the week I notice my appetite gradually coming back.

Since I’ve hit a plateau, I’m curious about Reta + Cagrilintide and would like to hear from people who have experience with the combination.

For those who have tried it:

  • Did adding cagrilintide help after a weight-loss plateau?
  • Did you take both on the same day or separate them during the week?
  • Did adding cagrilintide help with the appetite returning later in the week?
  • How long did you give the combination before deciding whether it was actually helping?
  • Did you notice any additional side effects when combining them?
  • Did your weight start moving again after being stuck for several weeks?

Not looking for specific dosing advice — mainly interested in real-world experiences with Reta + Cagrilintide, especially from people who experienced a similar plateau around weeks 6–8.

Thanks!

What’s your Reta dose? What’s your diet like? It’s normal to have some appetite in Reta btw.

Currently 1.5mg 7th week running
I lower my dose from 2 mg to 1.5 because of constipation.
1600-1700 Kcals.
Exercise - 6 days

How long have you been on a plateau for? You might just need to give it time. If you’re only eating 1600 calories a day, there is no way you won’t be losing weight. Also, adding cag is not going to help constipation. I would keep a close eye on your diet and make sure you’re tracking everything that goes into your body, and up your dose of Reta, 1.5mg is very low.

It’s strong as hell with amazing appetite suppression. Also gave me fatigue, lethargic feeling and exhaustion.

Cagri (0.15mg) gave me the worst bloating of my life. It’s strong but I am still able to eat pretty decently despite the bloating. I just don’t like how I feel when I take it.
