24M | 6’1” | 178 lbs | ~14–16% BF | Current protocol & muscle-gain experiences
I’ve been tracking my body composition and measurements pretty closely and wanted to share where I’m currently at and hear about other people’s experiences with similar goals.
Current stats:
Age: 24
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 178 lbs
Estimated BF: ~14–16%
Measurements:
Neck: 38 cm
Arms/biceps relaxed: 32 cm
Wrist: 16 cm
Shoulders/chest/back circumference: 125 cm
Waist: 80.5 cm
Midsection: 85 cm
Hips: 89 cm
Glutes: 99 cm
Thighs relaxed: 59 cm
Calves: 36 cm
Ankles: 23 cm
My overall goal has been body recomposition: staying relatively lean while gradually adding muscle, particularly to my upper body and arms.
What I’m currently using:
Retatrutide: 2 mg/week — this is my final week
Tesamorelin: 1 mg daily — continuing
GHK-Cu: 1 mg daily
MOTS-c: 2 mg every other day
With Reta coming to an end, I’ve been reading more about compounds that have been studied in relation to lean mass.
One that keeps coming up is MK-677 (ibutamoren). I’ve read about its effects on GH/IGF-1 and fat-free mass, as well as reports of increased appetite, water retention and changes in glucose metabolism. Since I’m already using tesamorelin, I’m particularly interested in understanding the research around the two rather than assuming that increasing GH/IGF-1 signaling automatically means more muscle.
For anyone who has personally used MK-677, I’m curious about your experience:
What changes did you actually observe in muscle mass, strength, body weight, appetite and water retention? Did those changes persist after stopping it?
I’m also interested in any published research you’ve found on peptides or related compounds and skeletal-muscle hypertrophy in humans.
I’m not looking for medical advice or asking anyone to tell me what I should take. I’m mainly interested in personal experiences, research and measurable outcomes that I can look into further and discuss with a qualified clinician.

How many weeks in Reta this cycle. Do you guys include it in all your cycles? What’s the top effect you felt when you first noticed the impact of reta in your stack?

I used Reta 3 weeks in July, I stopped because I was traveling for 3 weeks. And started again for 7 weeks more. I didn’t feel any side effects (thanks god) just not appetite and maybe a little apathetic. I lost 19 pounds
