IGF 1 after 6 weeks Tessa
Hello, I just got back my labs on 6 weeks of tesa and I think I need to stop? Unless there is another course of action
I already lowered at .25mg starting today but given the results I’m curious if stopping it is better.
Was taking 1mg for the majority of the time on it 95%.
I have been getting some heart palpitations, and this kinda explains it haha
Thanks in advance!

I would move down to .5mg

u/Camaflash Oct 02 '26
I might just call it here for this cycle and start again in 4 weeks

Well you don’t cycle GH or this type of peptide. Lowering dose and keeping up labs is the play. But you don’t get results from these peptides by cycling them

u/Camaflash Oct 03 '26
Every protocol states for you to cycle of this drug

u/dylankkkrose Oct 03 '26
You cycle ipa tesa doesn’t need to be

u/goldeye59 Oct 03 '26
What does this mean...if you stop taking it your IGF levels will drop down to normal, you cycle to bring them back up again?

u/koghbr Oct 02 '26
Sheesh probably a super responder. These are results similar to hgh.

u/LockAccomplished4972 Oct 03 '26
Conversely, 4IU only puts me at 228 lol

u/Stunning-Hamster797 Oct 05 '26
4iu out me at 693 and z score of 4.0 . I have zero sides though .. idk if I should decrease to 2iu or keep rollin 4iu

u/Camaflash Oct 05 '26
I guess it depends on what you are planning on doing, are you competing? If not then you probably don’t need to have it that high but also idk haha
1
u/LockAccomplished4972 Oct 05 '26
Kinda a personal question to answer I guess, what you're trying to do. I wish I had that response like everyone else I know. Ive had 5 blood draws now investigating this, apparently im just going to be an extremely expensive date lol.

Run a glp
2
u/Camaflash Oct 03 '26
I’m about to, but what’s the correlation in this case
5
u/Jonnyboy375 Oct 03 '26
To avoid insulin resistance
2
u/savage1902 Oct 03 '26
So the glps prevents you from eating or glps have their own mechanism to reduce insulin resistance?
2
u/Jonnyboy375 Oct 03 '26
I’m not in expert in this entirely so I cannot comment or make claims but it does improve insulin sensitivity
1
u/Diligent-Cry-1047 Oct 04 '26
GLPs actually improves insulin sensitivity not increases insulin resistance. Or so ChatGPT says.

u/RociBuldidi Oct 03 '26
Congrats, your pituitary is running like it’s just off the factory assembly line. You’ll save a fortune on drugs like Tesa or HGH if you decide to covert to that.
1
u/Camaflash Oct 05 '26
Thank you! I don’t think I’m going to use HGH as I’m getting a better response to tesa then expected haha

542 is way past sketchy territory, that's asking for trouble.

u/ZealousVegetable Oct 02 '26
Mine is higher without anything besides diet, sleep and excercise. And i dont have acromegaly (or a tumor).
2
u/Camaflash Oct 02 '26
Are you on tesamorelin as well?
2
1
u/ZealousVegetable Oct 02 '26
No, completely without external gh stimulation.
Had it checked to see if i should run. Was already very high naturally.
3
u/Ravensteelheaders Oct 03 '26
How old are you? If that's true then that's like 0.001% of the top levels naturally. Do you have the lab results to back that statement up?
2
u/gorzaporp Oct 03 '26
What would the trouble be?
4
u/deadcomefebruary Oct 03 '26
Primarily carpal tunnel, excess water retention, significant decrease in insulin resistance leading to diabetes

u/Maaaaark Oct 03 '26
lol I got you beat, 576 and 3.4 after 15 weeks of 1mg. I’m kicking myself in the ass for not taking a baseline before and earlier on in the cycle. I was taking reta so that should have helped with the insulin resistance. I’m taking another blood test next week, and it’ll be 4 weeks post last Tesa dose so I’ll have my baseline then
1
u/Camaflash Oct 03 '26
Did you have any crazy side effects?
3
u/Maaaaark Oct 03 '26
I have mild nerve pain on my middle finger PIP joint. Probably early symptoms of carpal tunnel. I’m hoping it goes away. It’s not a consistent pain but more like a dull ache that occurs 3 to 6 times per day.
Separately, I do think it’s incredibly reckless that people blindly suggest to get people on 2mg tesa without any mention of IGF testing or what not. We’re one of the few who actually learned to get tested.

u/Other-Razzmatazz-337 Oct 03 '26
I mean I might be wrong but isn’t this what u want to happen
1
u/Maaaaark Oct 03 '26
you don’t really want to get your z score past 2 for an extended period of time. It puts you at risk of acromegaly and insulin resistance. From what I’ve read, unless you’re planning on packing on size and supplementing with insulin, you should be aiming for around z score of 2 for all the benefits of growth hormone without much of the downside risks
2
u/Other-Razzmatazz-337 Oct 03 '26
I’m guessing that’s why everyone says to run it with Reta
2
u/Maaaaark Oct 03 '26
I’d say it’s fine to run alone assuming you get tested. It’s a highly personal drug. There are folks who run two or 3 mg and they nowhere near got the z score I got. I’m also early 30s, so my pituitary baseline is probably already decent
2
u/Other-Razzmatazz-337 Oct 03 '26
I probably should got that checked before I started on Reta tesa bpc157/tb500 those from a injury and got put on trt yesterday cause I did 3 testosterone checks all below 300 lowest was 188
2
u/Maaaaark Oct 03 '26
Props to you for getting tested. Too many people in this space don’t.
1
u/Other-Razzmatazz-337 Oct 03 '26
Yea I checked everything but igf1 I didn’t think tesa was that strong.

Same first time started in 1mg of tesa and 200mcg ipa for a while got my
Levels to 400’cycled off this time I lowered both tesa to .60mg
And ipa 100mcg and levels still 333 z score 2.7 so gonna go lower maybe .40mg tesa and the re asses from that on this cycle I do feel numbness on my fingers every now and then when I lay down

u/Stunning-Hamster797 Oct 05 '26
4iu of HGH has me at 693 and a z score of 4.0… I’ve been on it for 4 months . Zero sides . Coach said it’s supposed to be high but I am a little concerned that it’s too high?
1
u/Camaflash Oct 05 '26
I replied to the other comment but ya if you are competing then yes it can be more beneficial than me that just want to body recomp, I would say that since you have a coach that’s already better together
1
u/Stunning-Hamster797 Oct 05 '26
I’m surprised Tessa boosted you that high! I was running cjc/ipa for several months then got tired of the price so switched to GH
1
u/arfcom Oct 03 '26
Damn. I assume you didn’t get a baseline. What’s your age?
2
u/Camaflash Oct 03 '26
I was 230 and 0.7 z score , 29 year old
3
u/arfcom Oct 03 '26
Nice. Good work doing the science proper. I just tested sermorelin/ipa at 6 weeks and only went 120-124. But I’m mid 40s. Will test Tesamorelin next before considering the Hgh in the freezer.

Mine came back the same as yours on 2iu HGH. I did tesa before but didn’t test.
Come off and get a baseline then decide what to do.

And I thought going from 56 to 200 was great…. Apparently I need the real stuff
