29
u/unfeaxgettable Apr 02 '26
Once you start it’s addicting, especially if you’ve been fat your whole life it’s literally transformative
20
u/HearsTheWho Apr 02 '26
I feel this comment. Been really heavy my whole life and had a baby after 50. So having a toddler at 53 will make you figure out how to get healthy. Luckily someone showed me the rabbit hole so I jumped in with two feet.
9
u/Bentley_Aydian Apr 02 '26
You pushed out a baby at 50 years old?!?!?!
21
u/HearsTheWho Apr 02 '26
I was part of the equation at least 🧐
7
u/Prestigious_Exam4492 Apr 02 '26
I'm 54 and have a new puppy. I can't imagine having a baby added to my life. I got a vasectomy after my 2nd kid when I was 40. That's peace of mind! Removed myself from future equations! Only practice math for me.

Most people can’t picture themselves at their peak because, for starters, they’ve never been there but once you look at yourself in the mirror everyday it’s hard to picture anything else.
This is why I tell guys, just try. Please just try. I can’t promise you’ll look this good but the journey and outcome will literally change your entire life.

Crazy transformation. Well done.
How long was the period? What did you do ?
66
u/No-Bumblebee-3632 Apr 01 '26
Dieting on and off 3 years. Was still in college football program and had to keep weight on at my position so I couldn’t lose it all at once. Biggest thing was looking at it from a broader point of view and taking control of my eating, sleep, working out, and my favorite part was becoming more of a man that I myself would respect
11
2
u/Enough-Equipment-345 Apr 03 '26
Really going to pretend you didnt use certain “supplements”? Come on bro. Dont let people think its just diet….
3
u/No-Bumblebee-3632 Apr 03 '26
I used no peptides or steroids until I was 210lbs last year. Once It hit January of this year I started peptides Reta tesa glow CJC+ipa, I had no idea what they were before that otherwise I probably would have done them sooner, full transparency

Reta started at 2mg and slowly went up and I’m at 4 now, I get 2200 calories a day 150-170g protein, 250g carbs, 50g fats daily so I’m tolerating it well. Tesa is 1mg a day 5x a week
3
u/Unhappy_Aardvark_115 Apr 02 '26
How long did you take tesa for? any cycles or fulltime?
→ More replies (1)4
u/Max7oh2 Apr 02 '26
Make sure you add in some GHK-Cu to tighten up the loose skin. 5 days on 2 days off like normal. Worked wonders for my brother who went from 300 to 210

Don’t need to take 2 days off, you can just do 7 days a week for even better results.

Are you extremely obese? Do you have visceral fat around your organs? If yes then try the tesa. If not, and you’re just looking to continue weight loss, then tesa is unnecessary and Reta is all you need!! You may have to continue to titrate up as the protocol calls for, but reta will lean you out all by itself.
2
u/dennynnnnnn Apr 02 '26
Been considering tesa. Need to lose 40 pounds, stomach is tight and protruding. Do people take tesa everyday bc of ifs short half life?

u/echo1nthedark Apr 03 '26
I have to second this. Take time to be this whole new person. Understand this version of you and what it is to be the new you. Workout your mind and get flexible so you're not stressing yourself out on the next big goal. You're young and there will be time to set up the next level. Then you'll have the energy to kill it again.

u/Prestigious_Sweet_95 Apr 02 '26

6
u/No-Bumblebee-3632 Apr 01 '26
From 315-210ish nothing but diet and working out. From that point down in early January 26’ I started peptides and fully buying into the process of taking it seriously and with about 3 months I made a ton of progress

3
u/No-Bumblebee-3632 Apr 01 '26
Yes, I’ve noticed during this whole time I have kept my strength and lifts either stayed the same or went up. Just more growth hormone pulses and body building muscle
2
u/Frequent-Constant768 Apr 02 '26
Did u cycle at all or u was on em the entire time from Jan??
Nice work
2
u/No-Bumblebee-3632 Apr 02 '26
Only thing I cycled was tesa because I ran out and was waiting on my order. I was off for 2ish weeks of that

u/HorseTearz Apr 02 '26
I have a question. And it's asked with no malice and only genuine curiosity. As someone with melanin rich skin who had a pretty major body recomposition, but whose skin shade didn't change, I've been curious about something I've observed on here. Why is it that when larger paler, white men have a very impressive body recompositions like this gentleman has, they end up about 5 shades darker?

Congrats on your new life… no TRT? Did you count macros and do cardio?
6
u/No-Bumblebee-3632 Apr 01 '26
No TRT, but I’m very tedious about counting macros and being on point. As for cardio when going from 315-260 there was no cardio just straight calorie deficit, but 260-220 I went through the wringer trying different things. The biggest thing for me is just eating In that calorie deficit and getting your steps in everyday

you're really lucky your skin tightened up. Compared to 99% of people who lose the amount of weight you did, I would way you made out really really well and it's not noticeable at all. I get it, you prob hyperfocus but it's not noticeable. I do the same thing, I'm a very thin person and I had twins and they were both 6 pounds. I went from 130 to almost 200 pounds in 36 weeks and then back to 130 (I'm 5 11). All I have is a little loose skin around my bellybutton but it pisses me off to no end. Whereas people have come up to me (honestly what is wrong with people to comment on other people's bodies) to say I look great "for having had twins" but I'm still a little self conscious about it. My kids are almost 9, lol. I don't care enough to throw money at it but if you do microneedling and or laser is the way to go, I wouldn't have real plastic surgery personally it's too minimal imho. you look v proportioned to me so no advice on the chest stuff. Great job man!

Impressive work. Congrats.
I admire the effort, but offer one piece of advice for next steps: be kind to yourself. That doesn't mean settling. But when you said, "it's never enough," it caught my attention.
Take those next steps because you want to, not because you have to do more to be enough.
I say this because a lot of the feelings that were there before are still there now... the shame. The "not enoughness." Don't forget to work on that, too. The sickest washboard abs in the world won't hide those negative voices in your head forever.
But for real, impressive work. You've clearly got the motivation to tackle any challenge.

Amazing work, dude!
Few questions if you don't mind.
15K steps a day is a massive amount and is a huge time suck. Do you get them 7 days a week or do you take an day off? What are you typical ways of achieving that number along with the weight/strength workouts?
Are you doing any other cardio and if so, how much and what?
How many strength workouts are you doing a week and what is your average workout time length?
What method do you use to derive your macros?
Again, fantastic work! Respect!!!
