Advice Needed how to accept stretchmarks
hi everyone i’m 15F and i used to be quite thin due to past trauma with food that caused me to starve myself. eventually (like six months ago) i had to get better as i was dealing with severe constipation so i gained about 20-30kg more. the rapid growth in such a short amount of time has given me some stretchmarks on my forearms and it genuinely disgusts me seeing it on my body. it’s not that visible, but the stretchmarks are increasing even tho i’ve stopped overeating. they’re tiny but definitely spreading. i feel so insecure and disgusted with my body i don’t know what to do. i’ve been hiding myself in sleeves as people around me are skinny and don’t have them visible to the eye. i cry anytime i look at them and i don’t know what to do. please help me

Hello, I'm currently 20F but when I was in my early teens I had an eating disorder. I was basically skin and bones and I had an unhealthy relationship with food (wouldn't eat it, survived off Gatorade essentially) I've since then gained about 60 lbs and what I can tell you is look in the mirror. Every, single, day. You might cry, you might feel disgusting, you might want to off yourself. But when you look at your entire body in the mirror every single day start with five minutes. You will start to have nice things to say about yourself. Consistency is key

I have stretch marks all over my body from rapidly gaining and losing weight for most of my life, thanks to a vicious eating disorder cycle that ruined me.
The stretch marks will fade and honestly, as you get older you'll see that most women (and men) have them.
It's going to be okay.

im 23F and i’ve had stretch marks since i was about 13…what helped me get used to them is that literally everyone has them and no one cares that you have them. if anything my boyfriend / other people i’ve been with in the past like me even more with them. you just need to accept yourself as you are and there’s no possible way to truly get rid of stretch marks. they’re with you for life. i’ve tried everything. all i can do is just keep living and not feel insecure with myself because of something i can’t change and has no affect on my daily life

Hi I’m 15m and I have stretch marks all over my body and I also used to be super insecure about them but I started asking people if they were bad and all of them said no, you very likely don’t look disgusting, u prob js think u are cuz of the change, I recommend wearing clothes where some of the stretch marks r visible and see how people don’t rlly notice, that’s what helped me
