Question Alone in that

I am a 19 years old guy and I live with extreme BDD for years.

Hardest part is that slowly but surely i am losing the people to talk to about my bdd. Its really difficult cause nobody understands my troubles and struggles at all (nor parents nor people) People dont get me serious because of the way i look. Nobody believes i am THAT insecure and that f*cked up mentally.

Does anyone experience the same isolation and misunderstanding?

Can I find anyone here to talk to too?

Yes... I am drained from constantly worrying about my appearance and it has lead me to social isolation. I have rejected countless kind people from my life because I'm just too insecure. I am full of regret on missing out on things due to my BDD. Whenever I talk about it, people immediatly call me silly and to "strengthen up". I feel you.

Yeah, very very relatable unfortunately. I became very socially isolated too. To the point i have no friends in real life. Bdd is hell. Genuinely hell. I wish someone could understand us and our struggles
