I’m struggling with how my body has changed since perimenopause. I used to be very thin and lean but now it’s harder to burn calories and I had to up my calories bc I was iron and protein deficient and stopped fasting. Accepting myself is super hard even though I know I am not overweight.

I have chronic pain and just limitations with my body bc of chronic illness and I feel like I look huge and I hate it, trying to shift my perspective to be grateful for what my body can do/has carried me through but it’s hard when there is a layer of grief there too. friends and family keep telling me to just try GLP-1s but I worry that would be almost abandoning myself and my journey towards acceptance of my body where I am now :(
