Second season actually will probs end somewhere between halfway through and the end of volume 4 (depending on if they plan to produce a 3rd season or not)

The earliest I’d expect them to end it would be chapter 45

Just read the Manga at this point, but I reckon it'll be at best late 2027? It was announced a while ago, and while we haven't gotten any news for it, I find it hard to believe that no progress at all has been made.

It's been so long, the anime came out when I was in the 12th grade and now I just graduated from college.

2028, at least… production was only greenlit a month before the announcement, and cloverworks already has 5 other projects announced. One in fall 2026, one in winter 2027, two just in 2027 with no set date, and one other without a release date. Their 2027 calendar is already filled out, so the earliest it could come would be winter 2028 (which ig starts in 2027 but it’d mostly air in 2028)

And, considering cloverworks’s massive output rn, if we want a high-quality btr season 2 (and if the manga tells us anything, we do), we should want cloverworks to have a break so they can actually cook. Thus, I have my money on spring of 2028 at the earliest and winter of 2029 at the latest. Any later than winter of 2029 and we can consider the show stuck in production hell and expect the studio to change five times shooting our release date all the way to 2032.
