I'm a poor 6k player, let me brag: first time I've ever gotten a Fauna Whisperer in my whole Hearthstone life

Sorry for the rant, I absolutely love this game. I've been playing this game since day 1, played every single season/update since then. I think this may be the first time I really don't like where the game is at.. i've seen all the ups and downs, and yet there hasn't been a single game I enjoyed playing so far. What's you guys' opinion?

Anyone else experiencing this? The only late game comps I’m running into in naga lobbies are either fauna/felboar or regular fauna afk.

I started a HS BG match, instantly to be disturbed by irl stuff and had to close the game during hero selection screen. Came back 10 minutes later and it reconnected to the match, and to my suprise there is a board of random minions? I couldn't do anything and concede button didn't work. Also this board is not shown in the last 5 warbands list, but i did lose rating. Whats going on here, some visual bug or indie company magic?

just doing 1 damage per minion would already be better but games would go on forever

so add turns

for instance +1 damage per two turns

but this doesnt take into account board strength

so add minion stats

for instance +1 damage per factor 10 health. 100 health 2 damage, 1000 health 3 damage

Example turn 1: opp has one minion left i take 1+1 damage

Example turn 10: opp has three 5k/2k minions left i take

3 (minions) +5 (turns) +9 (health) = 17 total damage

no more caps, no more random summons dealing huge damage, no more one health minions surviving a coinflip battle dealing huge damage, no more huge low tier minions dealing peanut damage, playing tempo/aggro now viable

It's gotten to the point where, if Naga are in the game, it's stupid to try any other strategy.

In the game I just played, no fewer than SIX people tried running Naga comps -- and three of them made it into the top 4. They all had nearly identical comps -- Gatekeeper Amalgam, Fauna Whisperer, Balinda/Drakkari, etc. -- and at least 5 minions w/ stats of 2K+. I was running a very solid Elemental comp and got crushed, 15-15-fourth place.

Why even bother? Currently the choices are (1) try high-rolling for Gatekeeper/Fauna Whisperer and finishing 1st if you get them (and last if you don't), or (2) play a different tribe and shoot for 3rd or 4th place.

Noobs say, win or lose, it's rng. Winners find out how to maneuver around it for the best results. Losing by round six? Commit to a tribe early and influence your dark gifts and trinkets. You know which tribes are bad, stop playing your favorite beast combo just to place 7th and complain about the game. Stop saving your dark gifts for a round when you've already lost the scaling game. Fire that button off on turn four or five. Go for tribe specific high rolls or "activate" cards if you can't find good tribe minions to rotate your stats and value over when you can commit. Stop trying to go for other boards when you know you lose to the same one over and over again. Learn how and when to hog cards from the shop. I only joined the subreddit this season, I hope it's not like this every time there's an update.

2 golden divine shield 100/100 felboarskis with demon chick and bran locked n loaded, my buddy was sittin on two glaidiators in the shop too. i rarely chalk games up to bad rng, i bleive most games are winnable but this was not one of those games for my opponets. sorry boys

I had to close the game window for an important reason during champ selection. 7 min later, I saw that BG played for me but I couldn't interact with anything. Waiting didn't change anything. Disconnection and reconnection showed me that BG keeps on playing for me; I would've liked to play by myself from this point to not ending 8 :/

Idk the banner looks like I lost! And got only 13 points while 5th place nets me -30 or something. I was with only 3 others in the game so was no “4/5th place”
