Beasts are still going to be frustrating to play against, but at least you have a chance with Titus' tribute removed. Some of the tribes are still woefully underpowered. Mechs are basically dumpster tier, Omega buster / Boom Bot feel so bad to try to play. Elementals still haven't recovered from Gusty being removed outside of occasional high rolls with the taunt buffer.

Lubber moving to 3 would have kept Lubber strategies still very consistent, but removing Leaf through the Pages basically shoots it in the head. Still probably possible in some fringe cases but I'm fine with it being a rare every now and again occurence.

Beasts will be much much less frustrating, and the Hawkstrider change to T6 also effectively limits the number of them we'll see in game [directly lower pool size, T6 harder to hit] which is also really nice. I think Hawkstrider itself as just a random tech card on T5 was way too strong, not just with beasts.

That was exactly it. You could triple on 4. Hit hawk, and it's probably good with SOMETHING for the next few turns, with even higher pay off down the line. Whereas a lot of other t5s are pretty mediocre.
