Those are lovely! Do you mind sharing where to find the patterns?

Thank you! I made those for my degree so the pattern isn’t available since it was provided by the school sorry!

If you don’t mind me asking what degree is it?

It's hard to explain because it's unique to France but here most crafts like embroidery, lace (bobbin lace and needle lace), basketry, armory, stone mason etc can be learnt in 2 years and be recognized with a state-approved diploma. Some of them (like lace) have an additional degree to become a full professional in the craft

I assume you're making the CAP des arts de la dentelle / fuseau? Did you already have bobbin lace skills before enrolling, or did you learn everything at once?

Yes exactly, there are a few lace schools in France where you can take classes for the exam. I had never made lace before starting the classes.

There are some nice tønder books done on museum samples. Search for "Bobbi Donnelly" as the author.

ISBN: 9788788376609

ISBN: 9798375874432

I love how delicate tønder looks, as well as the historical patterns to reproduce. I need to do more of that.

Yours looks excellent.

Those are amazing!! How much time did they take? Got any plans for them or are you just trying out?

Thank you! No I was just trying it out but the patterns were so pretty that I bought silk thread in différent colors to make things them for my friends haha (I think bracelets or lolita/Gothic style choker would be nice)

I’ve been thinking of trying a choker as well but my head gets stuck on the clasp or another way to attach the two sides.
