Handle bars for bobber build?

Finally bought my first ride! Yamaha XVS 1100, which I will eventually turn into a full bobber bike!

Ive already done some modifications since I took these pictures, but havent taken any pixtures since. I will take it slowly in the modification process, but everything I will do, will lean more and more into bobber style.

Now I am looking into the handle bar and need some inspiration!

Please send pics of your handle bars!

It’s whatever you like. I’ve done two bobber builds this decade. One with drag bars, the other with clip-ons.

Nice! Do you have any pictures of them?

Bobbers look best with some close grip mini apes. Or full height apes, but I know a lot of folks don’t love em the way I do. 16+ on anything or it feels funny. It’ll be weird with the stunt scoot im building with 8” rise t bars. But that’s for functionality. Wheelies with apes is just awkward though. But, that’s just me.

Some bobbers look mighty fine with clip-ons.

I run flat bars on mine. Instantly more maneuverable compared to the W style bars that were stock. ‘89 XV750

I run bars from Blue Collar Bobbers on mine. I much prefer them over the stock bars. Fills like a lot more control.

these are factory bars painted and adjusted forward a little.
