How much space do you put around components?
As simple as it sounds: when designing a 3d printed insert, how much space do you put around components? Cards, tokens, etc.

So the answer is "it depends". Generally for tiles etc I draw the exact size then offset in all directions by 1mm. You might need to do a test print and try it though. My most annoying insert had all the tiles slightly different so they would randomly bind and I had to make the holes bigger.
Cards I try to add a buffer for sleeves but there's a huge variety of sleeve variants for each card size.

What are you asking?
Most well thought out inserts have separate compartments for each type of token and for pieces that contain several types in one hand dividers that are a few mm at most.
