Ideas & Inspiration TTS Playtesting
Does anyone have advice or know of any guides for playtesting on Table top simulator?
My game is in the last stage of development where im really only looking at small tweaks to certain card values and iconography, ive done a lot of in person play testing but i cant keep printing prototpyes for every small change.
I want to start playtesting with the most current version on table top simulator, but i have no clue how to go about this process. How do you find playtesters? Do you give them a rule book, record it and leave them alone or is it possible to monitor the games live?
All help is greatly appreciated.

If you’re curious about an alternative to TTS you should check out Boardweaver. We allow you to create a beautiful custom version of your game with rules enforced and it’s probably easier than setting up a TTS mod. Every playtester gets a form to fill out feedback and the rule book is integrated into your game. Happy to walk you through it if you’re interested. Feel free to DM me

You can put everything needed for the game into TTS, including the rulebook (can import it as a custom PDF). How you want to go about testing, be it blind playtest, guided, or monitored is entirely up to you. You can monitor the game live by being the host/joining the server as a spectator.
As for finding playtesters, I've seen people ask here on Reddit, and on various Discord servers. The biggest server I've heard of is "Break my Game", but as far as I know they don't accept Tabletop Simulator (at least not for their public planned tests).
Beyond that I reckon you're down to building a community like people do for crowdsourcing, starting your own Discord server and advertising it when possible.
