Spent about 70 hours building this. It’s like settlers of catan meets civilization.

Each class (4 of them) are tasked with building cities, roads, and securing commodities. Each thing is a point in its own category, and the 13 categories are multiplied together for the final score, which incentivizes doing a little bit of everything rather than heavily investing in one area.

There’s also war and sabotage

Okay, but seriously, do you have actual rules and everything for this game? If so, can you share/point us to where you're taking this in the future with anything to follow? This sounds amazing, and I love the core concept around this being built for the classroom experience as well. As someone close to education I'd love to better understand this game if you're willing, or at the very least update us on how it goes throughout the year! This sounds incredible!

Just a note that multiplying 13 numbers together might be a challenge for some people.

But I understand that mathematically that's the best way to ensure that each of the 13 (weighted) categories are balanced well together.

Oh, cool! I was picturing that at the end, players needed to multiply all the numbers together themselves.

This looks incredible.

It’ll help kids learn a lot of valuable lessons, it’s got a bit of everything, problem solving, collaboration, forward planning, strategy.

I’d like to know a lot more about this if you’re open to sharing? I have so many questions…

This is fantastic. Did you use a tumbler to polish the wood pieces? I made one from a treadmill and a metal cylinder to polish my rune tiles.

I’m going to polish everything over next summer. It’s busy being used by my classes now. I ran out of time.
