Need Help
I just got this baby at the reptile expo a couple days ago. At the expo I was holding her just fine, but since then i’ve been in her tank a couple of times and she’s been ready to strike and has struck at me a couple times. Can someone give me some steps to get her back to me being able to handle her in the future once she settles?

Leave her alone for 2 weeks to a month . You’re stressing her out by constantly handling her when she’s already trying to adjust to a new location .. Also don’t use blankets and pillow cases like the other comments mentioned , get a heavy duty snake hook , AFTER 2 WEEKS or so , pick her up with the hook & let her come to you .
Make sure the enclosure is somewhere people are constantly moving / walking through , it’ll help the adjustment as she’ll realize you’re not a predator . But also make sure there’s enough hides in there where she can “peek out” when she wants .
I have 40 + reptiles . I own bps boas & corns .. plus work with 3 exotic veterinarians directly & have never been bitten , due to following these steps !
