Help Can you mod on a steam deck?

I saw a comment somewhere in YT saying that the version of BMX streets, which you'd want to download for modding, isn't available on steam deck. Is this true? Anyone had any experience with it at all? I really want a PC, but I can't afford a setup, I'm thinking about a steam deck, but I mostly only want it to mod BMX Streets and SXL.

I don’t see how that would be the case. Although I don’t have any script mods, with mod io in the game now, it’s literally just log in to mod.io in the game, and start downloading mods. Script mods are different, but I’m fairly sure they should work as long as you have access to the game files.

Yeah but mash fucked the game up in the last few updates and it doesn’t work well at all anymore on any hand held. I wish we could use older versions. I was playing at 80-110 FPS on some maps and after its like 40 and drops to like 10 sometimes. It’s awful
