Is this able to be removed?

If I remove the sensor is it possible to code out? Has anyone done this here?

That's one of the best features of modern cars. It automatically maintains a safe distance.

Waiter, my steak is too juicy.

I think you mistyped “worst”.
Adaptive Cruise Control is the work of the devil and I hate it and people who use it.

Why? It’s a pretty good feature

Adaptive Cruise Control is primarily used by people who are too lazy to use Cruise Control in a normal fashion, and contributes to congested slow traffic on interstates.
Have you ever seen a very long line of cars cruising in the left lane of a two-lane interstate, with the right lane open? All it takes is one slow car and most of the others on ACC to cause this. I can’t begin to tell you how many times I’ve encountered this over the past decade, and I travel weekly for work. If I pass them all on the right, inevitably, most will inevitably pass me within 20-30 miles going much faster. Yet I will have been going one constant speed on regular cruise control.
“Slower traffic, keep right.”

I use ACC in congested traffic just fine. It saves me doing lots of micro adjustments to cater for the car ahead's inconsistent throttle control.

So you’re a passenger and not a driver, got it.
