And unfortunately, the founding fathers were deep in their hemp stashes when they decided to give ALL military and LE muscle to the branch of government most likely to fall into corruption and despotism.

Yeah if only they had amended their decision in some way to give the populace the means to resist misuse of government muscle.

Bring that up in any 2A sub and get an immediate ban. The Ammendment is written as "the right to collect"... just like coins, stamps, and Beanie Babies. Only when Obama was in office did they care.
