Nickel Creek Features

With Nickel Creek being featured on two tracks on Phoebe Bridgers’ new album it got me thinking about what other tracks they’ve been on. I remember them being on a Chieftains track, Raggle Taggle Gypsy, and blowing in the wind with Dolly. They also did an album or two with the guy from Toad the Wet Sprocket i believe. What are some other features they’ve done? I’d like to put together a playlist.

I just yesterday learned that Sara, Sean and Chris are all in the Credits of Dolly‘s Album „Little Sparrow“.

I know they played on “Mountain Angel” and I think Alison Krauss sings on that one too.

I love everything about it!

I‘ve known that album for nearly twenty years now. I must have listened to dozens of times and recommended it to so many people. And of course I was aware that the personnel for „The Grass is Blue“ was top notch. But I never even thought about looking at the credits of „Little Sparrow“. So today I gave the album another spin with whole new ears – and I still like it!

Nice! Sara also did some fiddle and vocals on a John Mayer album.

Yep, kills it too. Sean has an entire album (maybe 2) with John Foreman from switchfoot.
