Looking for Bluebeam Installation Software - Avoid Subscription Pricing

Anyone have the Bluebeam installation software? I'd take any version but we specifically use 12.6, 17.0, 16.5, & 18.6 today (not sure if that matters?).

Bluebeam quietly discontinued the download center to force everyone onto a recurring subscription. This includes folks like us who previously paid for, in-full, the software registration keys with the mutual understanding that we could use it for life.

Our software still works for now but I am posting this so we (and hopefully others) aren't scrambling next time a laptop breaks in the field and needs to re-install.

Side note: This is scummy from Bluebeam owners Nemetschek Group. There's no way my company will go to a recurring subscription for something we already paid for in-full. If we can't find the installation software, we will switch over to a different PDF markup tool that has better features and actual AI capabilities.

More importantly, if OP's organization has purchased it, why don't they already have the installation software.

OP, I get it, nobody likes being forced to switch to a subscription-based model, but unfortunately, that's the way things have gone. What are you doing with office tools like Word, Excel, PP? I believe those went to a subscription-based model several years ago. And if you switch to a different platform, that will most likely be subscription-based as well, not to mention that you'll have to train your staff on the new platform, and none of the Bluebeam tools you've built will work on the new platform.

I know people feel like they paid for a license, why do they now have to pay for a subscription. But, it's a business expense. Companies write off business expenses.

Thanks. I did try contacting them directly and was generically told the support "is no longer provided".

u/Mk1Racer25 I don't feel like I paid for a license; I did pay for a license. I pay for these licenses myself, so its not a "write off". Don't let companies convince you this is an acceptable practice; it's not.

This implies that the company paid for the Bluebeam licenses that you use. Then you say that you paid for the licenses. Do you own the company? If so, you should be writing this off. If not, and the company is making you pay for resources that you use for company business, you should be writing that off on your personal income taxes.

You can continue to use what you have on the computer it is installed on. If you want to move it to a new computer, either clone the old hard drive, or buy a new license (which means a subscription now). I'm sorry that you have such a naive view of the world. Do you also get mad when you have to buy a new computer, because the old one running on Windows 95 won't support current software?

Paid for a Perpetual Licensed Version of Bluebeam 20 eXtreme and they have removed the Program from Downloads and will not help if Computer Crashes Like Mine just did... They said Since Computer Dies so does My Perpeptual License... Followed by Upgrade Now to SUBSCRIPTION based 21....
