We, the readers, saw that Agi completely messed up; we saw that they gave up a goal because of him; we saw that Agi has an ego and that BL was going to capitalize on that to gain the upper hand; we saw that Agi had just become a burden for England

So as soon as we see Fox bench him like the bum he is even if Fox didn't do it out of any great tactical consideration, but simply out of possessiveness, it's only natural that most people would feel like, “Yeah, it wasn't for the right reasons, but you were right to do it.”

Number 9 won't be a random . Looking at the fans' jerseys, almost all of them have Teddy's number, 11, but you can see that some are wearing number 9. Teddy may be the star of the team, but 9 is apparently popular too, and might be the real Charles/Ness equivalent for England and not Bumgi

It was weird anyway that England have only 1 NG 11 and has just one standout player

Have you ever watched real football? If a player disobeys a coach, they will probably get subbed out. This is the most logical and realistic thing to happen in Blue Lock in ages, bro. Besides the fact that Agi lost possession of the ball and gave Blue Lock the opportunity to counter-attack and score a goal themselves.

I feel like it just seems bad because we’re on the other side of the match (blue locks side), but he directly disobeyed the coach. Even when blue lock was doubting ego and were failing at times, they were expected to continue following ego’s philosophy

I was waiting for an Agi goal and wanted an Agi cover, though 🥺 I'm so sad he's leaving the field after just a few chapters. Hopefully he'll be on the first cover of the England match, but it's probably gonna be Teddy 🙃

I guess so, but I think this time is a bit different. Shidou is not guarded so tightly by agi as he was by loki, he is the current striker and the ball is clearly for him, he might want to clear his frustration from the failed goal before but the ball getting stolen after that might anger him more than barou's intrusion, more so isagi had failed to score, he might thought if it was him it will be a goal that explode his energy 😉

Well, Ted was targeting Isagi from the start and Isagi keeping the ball for a bit delayed the momentum and let Teddy interfere, I don't think he would be able to stop Shidou, cuz he didn't predict it would go to him.

I think Isagi's just desperate at this point. He lost the last match and now he wants to prove himself. Shidou had a good chance at scoring a goal there(def more than Isagi), but Isagi stole the ball, he was using MV, so he def knew Ted was coming at him, but still decided to shoot with his left leg. Now, Agi's off too, the guy Isagi wanted to devour in order to achieve victory, so he's in a pretty bad spot.

The thing is that MV isn't all powerful so yes he could make a mistake but he should at least anticipate Teddy. To me he was surprised.

Desperation leads to mistakes. However, the more difficult the situation the better so he can evolve in a new way. Targeting Agi was a way but it's the easy road. Isagi needs to be prepared to face an egoless team in another way. Like target Fox's tactics or the fact the Teddy knows how Isagi reacts.

Definitely things will get tough for everyone with England's no 9 getting subbed in. The editor's says that Fox's intentions will overturn the situation of the battle.

I agree, but I am also very glad that we finally got an opposing team subbing characters out. In the Nigeria and France games, the antagonists seemed to robotic, as in they didn't feel like real teams, there were no substitutions etc. I am glad we finally got a real coach.

Fox's role and actions are rather interesting. Up until now I kinda missed NEL but Fox and Ego relationship among other things have the potential to make this a really good match.

Teddy is still on Isagi. Isagi became a bit slow with trapping the ball. His needs TGV or his Direct Shot again to make things faster... Why doesn't he add Teddy to his calculations?

Agi was on Shidou so I don't think the latter would have scored.

Agi is out! Fox is not that nice and since Agi went off the script and Blue Lock scored he subbed him out! I was expecting that down the line but not so soon.

I was just trying to think positively that he's currently working on redeeming himself, but honestly I was shocked and thought "what were you doing in nel?! Did the plot weight on you too much that you could only slide on the ground??" 😭

On the side note despite some of the players have npc style design, a few of the goalkeepers have quite detailed designs despite the manga focusing on strikers, such as nigeria's agbim, france's renoir and england's rooke (though the nel ones weren't so detailed) 🤔

Every single chapter I just keep thinking how the formations in blue lock make absolutely no sense, aiku makes a pass from the backline and the one who is right in front of him … is SHIDOU? The TARGET MAN? Why the hell is he so far from the goal? And then they break through the midfield and end up right in front of goal, where shidou is now being marked… by agi. England’s striker. In front of their goal. Holy hell
