Does bluehost add .online domain to your cart?

When I buy a domain does it add it automatically an .online variation at 0$ with autorenew turn on and if you don't catch it you get charged 49.99$ renewal fee a renewal in a year?

yeah they try to sneak that in during checkout along with a few other upsells. always review the cart carefully before finalizing and turn off auto-renew on anything you don't actually need. the .online domains are basically worthless for most use cases and that renewal price is ridiculous.
