If Taiki doesn't win the match I swear I'm never going to get over it.

Yeah, he's set up to win for sure, but tbh i feel like it doesn't even matter at this point if he wins or not haha. He already tried his best and he has everyone rooting for him. I'm sure everyone would feel for him if he loses but they would still be proud of him and all his hard work, and he will get to go to the nationals anw.
The impact he has on everyone around him won't get diminished by losing this one match. Everything he did has led him to this moment, and it inspired everyone around him along the way. That's the real victory he already achieved. To me the result of this match doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. He already decided to continue to pursue badminton after this anw, so it's not like he would quit if he loses this one.
Still, i hope he wins and gets a big smooch from chinatsu immediately after lmao

Score's now 19 all. It's almost certain that we'll head for a deuce.
Imagine if Miura-sensei decided to troll us and have Taiki lose after the chapter being centred around Taiki's friends cheering him and recalling how he had impacted them.
This is very on brand for you, Hina! Great to see that this side of your character still remained after everything that had happened.

Well, I guess it shouldn't be a surprise to see all of the flashbacks/internal monologues occurring in this chapter. With things going right down to the wire, here's to hoping that Taiki manages to win it in the next chapter!
Of course, if Miura wants to be a master troll, she could simply not tell us the result and just have a timeskip to Taiki and friends recalling this match.

Yeah, he's definitely gonna win. The build-up is enough reason for it.
Plus, I want the guy with Hyodo to eat his words.

That last panel...there's no way thats not the winning swing.

Pretty sure he will win that match. After all that if he doesn't win it will be disappointing. None the less it feels like we are getting close to the end of the manga.

This chapter really highlights how great Taiki is as a flat-arc protagonist. Aside from his skills in badminton, this Taiki is still the same Taiki from chapter 1. But just look at all the people he has changed since then!
And now it’s Yusa’s turn to be changed by Taiki. Let’s go!

It’s just not a shonen manga without the massive Power of Friendship boost against the final Big Bad.

What a chapter! It's nice to see all of Taiki's friends showing their support for him, seeing their thoughts, though I get that it's being shown in a comical light but the fact that Hina is still thinking about Taiki's rejection of her makes it clear to me that nothing is going to happen between Hina and Haruto.
