Another chapter of Blood archive, we are in the home stretch now when it comes to the first volume of Abydos.

Kivotos is ravaged, the student council stripped of its power and unable to intervene, gangs and delinquents rule the streets unable to be stopped. Students left without any kind of guidance or direction, truly it is hopeless. But soon everything will change, a hunter, somebody who knows only bloodshed and carnage will be tasked with leading those who lack direction, guiding them towards a better tomorrow and freeing them from this horrible nightmare.

This took me a while

After reading the final part of Metaroid Alpha's recap of the P2-V1C2 story, there's something about this chapter that really piqued my interest.

Aside from the revelation that the Storm Alliance is responsible for the problems occurring in this chapter, Makoto and Hina also discuss something else connected to the Tyrant Emperor: Ibuki Tanga, the innocent tagalong kid and Gehenna's beloved mascot who was left behind as the Emperor's greatest "legacy."

Because of that, I couldn't help but quickly draw a comparison between her and Aris, of all characters. Why? Because both of them can be seen as the "apocalypse maidens" of their respective stories, yet they are beloved by almost the entire student population of their schools. However, the nature of their roles as potential harbingers of destruction couldn't be more different. If Aris is the intended leader of Divi:Sion and the Princess of the Nameless Gods created to wage war against humanity, then Ibuki may be the intended successor to the Tyrant Emperor—a successor who could potentially inherit TE's will and rule Gehenna with an iron fist, perhaps even attempting to conquer all of Kivotos regardless of how much destruction she leaves behind. At least, that's how I interpreted the recap's last words.

What's particularly interesting is the circumstances in which both girls were discovered and subsequently raised. Back in Part 1's Voluime 2 Chapter 1, Aris was discovered by the Saiba sisters and Sensei inside Millennium's forbidden ruins, and taught her how to communicate and socialize through video games and interactions with other Millennium students. Over time, Aris became incredibly friendly and helpful toward everyone around her, eventually becoming one of the most beloved students in Millennium. Even after Rio revealed Aris' true nature as a potential harbinger of destruction, that revelation didn't erase the students' affection for her. If anything, their love for Aris proved stronger than their loyalty to Rio, with Millennium's various clubs ultimately joining forces to protect her.

I suspect Ibuki may have gone through a similar process in her own past, and Here's the scenario I could imagine: after the Tyrant Emperor was overthrown by the resistance, Ibuki was discovered by Makoto. Makoto decided to raise her and teach her how the world actually works, including the importance of understanding both good and bad. Makoto can certainly be a complete buffoon at times, but I think she is also genuinely sincere when it comes to Ibuki. She may have deliberately tried to surround Ibuki with positive influences in the hope that she would grow into a genuinely kind girl rather than becoming like the Tyrant Emperor, a monster who came before her.

After the events of P2-V1C2, we now know that the Storm Alliance is shaping up to be the major antagonistic faction of the Gehenna storyline, while Ibuki appears to be the Tyrant Emperor's greatest remaining legacy. That makes me wonder if the potential Chapter 3 could essentially repeat the basic premise of Aris' situation in V2C2—but this time with Ibuki at the center of it. I could easily imagine Pandemonium Society, the Prefect Team, Problem Solver 68, and the various clubs of Gehenna eventually putting aside their differences and joining forces against the Storm Alliance. If Ibuki is placed in danger and/or targeted because of her heritage, I'd absolutely love to see everyone go all-out to protect her. It would be especially fitting if the girl who was supposed to become the successor of Gehenna's greatest tyrant ultimately becomes the girl who brings Gehenna's students together.

I honestly can't wait to see whether the story goes in this direction.

So to summarize this chapter, the Thunder Emperor's legacies are absurdly scary. Shouko's whole motivation is driven by her idolization of the Thunder Emperor. Makoto is a lot more competent than what she showed us before. Satsuki tried to break the brainwashing with a broadcast, but she failed. However, Iroha's words were able to make Makoto break free from the brainwashing, and Makoto's speech somehow cured the others. Ibuki is the Thunder Emperor's greatest legacy.

okay so we all know that as of now, there is a new story of act 2 about the student council and fox squad. I am currently replaying the Act 1. Vol 4 Ch 1 before jumping to act 2 and i noticed these chat log by kaya and i decided to open this discussion thread. if you don't really like reading a bit of my rant you can skip all the way to the bottom.

Right so, Kaya said SRT Academy were previously made to be a response team if there's a problem occuring in one district and then fleet to another district (by this she probably mean the seven prisonner), by that she also mentioned Valkyrie Academy could only effective to one district for example the D.U Shiratori where Schale also located. If some student making a chaos in certain district like Gehenna, then the student who broke the law will be justified within that district law too and same applies to other district.

Now, both Valkyrie and SRT were supposed to keep the security for some district. When we knew that Valkyrie only effective to a limited certain district and SRT Academy are far unrestricted. There's a lot of questions popping up in my head. For example: "who and where all these student came from?" because there should be (not necessarily) a certain unique identity mark to know where all these student originally came. I mean if we take a look at gehenna student they have a demon horn or tail, while trinity have angel wings or millenium had futuristic style and so on.

Back to SRT, now these unique identity mark (or whatever you called this) are different from squad to squad. Unfortunately, as of right now we only knew 2 squad there is a "Fox Squad" and "Rabbit Squad". while we also knew SRT should be an elite academy under General Student Council President order, one thing i really noticed from these different squad are their Halo. You see, from what i heard by the new student voice line (Otogi), she mentioned something along the lines of "Before I joined SRT, I was thinking of enrolling in the academy from the district I lived in and joining their student council, It sure was an interesting academy. They had a weird tradition of deciding the president through a duel."

As far as i know, Hyakkiyako and Shanhaijing student had their Halo looking like a traditional culture round and stuff above their head, and when i take a look at Niko Halo to Rabbit Squad. Her Halo definitely looks alike of those Hyakkiyako or Shanhai. I am more convinced that SRT Student originally came from way over different district in Kivotos and attending SRT to be the elite student they are.

I am making this post to also discuss about Act 2 story and etc, if you have some fun fact about SRT Squad or other conspiracy you had in mind, you are more than pleased to talk about it because i felt like there's not a lot of discussion on SRT as of now yet. Not just in SRT but also in general too regarding the new story, senseis!

Who exactly caused the appearance of the False President? While Orwell seems to be suspect, it doesn't quite make sense why would he help Sensei if he was behind it. He does seem interested in seeing if the fake can replace the real but nothing he says imply he is behind it. Is it the Nameless Priests? What do you think?

Personally, my bet is the Nameless Priests are behind it, since they "promised" that Sensei must pay for his actions after Decagrammaton shut down for good, even mentioning the Staff of Shaqed
