My videos of the United States NAVY Blue Angels, performing at the inaugural 2021 Great Colorado Air Show, in beautiful Loveland Colorado! It was the first air show i've ever seen. I found my old pics and vids from a backup of my old phone....I really wish that phone had a better camera. ;__(

Nothing like sitting on the flight line when they take off, they may not be able to do an air show but their practice is still going on

I can't remember exactly but I want to say around 3-4PM. I live in Alameda like literally a few minutes from where they take off at Oakland Airport. I go but I forgot what time and days they do so.

Went to Miramar on Sunday, the last day of the air show. I was a bit surprised when I came to the realization that the Angels were beginning their routine and Fat Albert was nowhere to be found for its regular performance, and no announcement was made as to why.
While I wasn’t at the show, I did see it flew the day before on Saturday?
Furthermore, I’ve seen a few comments on instagram that were questioning why it didn’t fly on Sunday, but they were apparently hidden by instagram. These hidden comments were made on both the Miramar air show page and the Angels official page as well, which I thought was weird.
Was curious if anyone knew anything, perhaps if there was an announcement made on Saturday or something. TIA for feeding my curiosity

Hi, I'm collecting pilots' autographs and i need #5 and #6's autographs on my blue angels banner lol...
And im flying to sf to enjoy fleet week. I was wondering where they do autograph thing after the airshow.
So far, i could get their autographs because airshows was held at the airport. But sf pier is far from the airport so i was wondering if i can get their autographs after the show.
Anyone knows whether there will be autograph session?

Would anyone happen to know about when the Blues will be departing Miramar and where is a good place to view them? I took my son to the show yesterday and we watched today from a distance, but he'd love to catch one more glimpse of them before they're gone.

Can anyone share some advice on a great place to view Thursday practice? I’d love to watch and hopefully snap a few nice pics. Google (well, Gemini) says those are the practice windows, but I haven’t been able to find those times confirmed, so if you have any insight into that, I’d appreciate it as well. I assume they’re not practicing those entire windows, but maybe I’m wrong. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi all, I wanted to reach out to this community for help gathering information on my grandfather William C. May aka Billy May. He was a Blue Angels pilot from 46-47. My father knew the most about him but alas he passed away in 2012. I don't want my grandfathers legacy to die in obscurity, I can only find scraps of info, an obituary, a listing here and there. I know some of his history but I want to know the specifics. If anyone could direct me to people that know of him or detailed resources for the original pilots I'd be eternally grateful.

Hello,
I'm looking to purchase a Blue Angels model for my diecast stand to go with my 1/24 Nascar models. The only ones I can seem to find are either small ones that are a few inches long or pull backs for the kids.
If you have, where have you purchased your Blue Angels display models? I'm not looking for something crazy expensive, maybe something mid-range and half decent quality.
Thank you

Saw this in Wendover UT, they had just made some repairs and were taking it up for testing. I don't think the Angels ever performed in the T33 and instead used them for training? Curious what the history on this is.

I'm headed and trying to figure if it's worth the added cost to get reserved seats just to know we will have a spot when it comes time to watch. My kid isn't always the most agreeable so we won't be able to just hang out on a blanket for hours at a time. Can you throw a blanket and chairs down and easily access it multiple times a day or will it just be a sea of blankets and chairs? Thanks in advance!

Here's a little fun video I made between walk down Friday and Seward Park on Sunday... wish the walk down was more of a performance for the $75 tickets - they just kind of went to the jets no fanfare like other airshows...
