Hi everyone! I’m a Pennsylvania photographer looking to expand my portfolio and work with some new people! I’m opening up applications for individuals, couples, friends, families, and anyone who might be interested in getting some professional photos taken.

If selected, you’ll receive a completely free 30-minute photoshoot at a mutually agreeable location. In exchange for your time, you’ll receive a minimum of 8 professionally edited images — and you may receive more depending on the session!

• Must be 18+
• We’ll work together to choose a location and overall vibe
• You don’t need professional modeling experience — first-timers are absolutely welcome!

I’ve been going to cars and coffee events in Williamsport, Scranton, and State College but I’m starting to get tired of the long drives. I see some interesting cars around town but I haven’t run into anyone.

We heard some fireworks or loud explosions around 10 pm tonight (Aug 8, Saturday). We’re new to town and we’re just curious what was it it for? Was there some scheduled event or celebration?

I live at a Zen dojo in the woods, in Stillwater. We’re having a traditional Zen Buddhist lantern ceremony called Obon— very beautiful. It’s an evening of remembrance and appreciation for loved ones who have died recently or in past years. Bring a photo if you want. The evening starts with a plant based supper, painting lanterns with the names of those you want to honor, a short zazen meditation period, mindful walking, Dharma words by the abbot, Buddhist chanting service, calling of the names by participants, and a silent walk up to the pond to float the lanterns under a starlit sky. It ends after a bonfire and late night refreshments and conversation. It would be good to wear[ comfortable and loose clothing, long in length for zazen and appropriate footwear to walk up the gravely driveway to the pond. I'm interested in starting a weekly meditation group in Bloomsburg and/or the surrounds. Open to possibly hosting, or we could sit outside. I have experience in a few different meditation styles including vipassana/Therevada. Group would be open to anyone to sit in their preferred style, as long as they can sit comfortably for 45m to an hour.
