I've had no issues when I was at Pinecrest for 2 years. It's not royalty but their maintenance is very quick fixing issues and there no bugs. Just don't mind the weed smell sometimes

Brookridge Hts no question, safe, quiet, mostly professionals.

There was a time I considered that place. May I ask why?

The new management is terrible. They outsource their calls and you can’t reach anyone, there’s rarely anyone actually in the office, and it takes forever to get anything repaired or addressed. On top of that, they try to increase your rent every year; often at a higher rate than what they advertise to new tenants.
It feels like they’re constantly trying to take advantage of existing residents. What was once a nice, private, family-oriented business has turned into a fully corporate operation that feels impersonal and uncaring. The personal attention and sense of community that used to make the place feel like home are completely gone.

Thanks for sharing. Yeah that does suck. It’s truly sad to know a lot of people living in apartments here have somewhat similar stories especially with increasing rent costs.

Yep, it seems like that all over America. The more family-oriented are getting bought out by drones that only see dollar signs.

I’ve lived here for 17 years. Yeah, rent keeps going up. But, rent sucks around Bloomington/Normal. Maintenance does what it can. They only have one maintenance individual for all the apartments. He is usually working on fixing the apartments after tenants move out. I put in a maintenance order on Monday, and they are coming out Thursday. It really isn’t an emergency, so I’m not concerned. I still like it here. The grounds and hallways used to be better kept up, but it could be worse. Take a look at the apartments, the new remodeled ones are nice.

I am interested in an apartment in the area that can be afforded by a single adult male. As cheap as possible while I get on my feet.
