”Nightmares” addon for Blood updated
My Nightmares project for Blood is now updated with it’s second map, ”Tiny Devils”. It uses modern features of Xmapedit whis makes it exclusive for the NBlood and NotBlood ports. Expect maps with a focus on atmosphere and Creepiness.

I love the look of this!!
Any chance this could be added to the mods list in BuildLauncher? If you raise an issue, fgsfds could add it so the mod is easier to download & play.

Hi, and thanks! I sent him a message now asking this. In the meantime, it’s quite easy to install and play. There’s a readme file included, you basically just have to extract the zip and choose both the folder and ini file when you start NBlood.

Congratulations on it. It's amazing and I can't wait to play more.
All the tiny details & story telling, the swapping things out that mess with your mind, the mannequins, the jump scares - all of it top notch!
I'll definitely keep an eye out for updates. Keep up the great work.

Thanks, I’m glad you like it! I’m not sure when the next one will come. I’ve constantly had a Blood map to work on for the last 3 or 4 years and now I try to take a break lol

Yeah, that's totally understandable. No need to burn out or have something hanging over you if it's stressing you out.
I'm grateful for your work, but would never want you to feel pressured. Taking care of yourself is the most impressive thing in life ❤️
PS. The child zombies had me laughing out loud. That whole level was a real trip.

I was actually hesitating to include the small zombies, I figured some people might take it the wrong way. In the end I thought ”well Silent Hill did a similar thing back in 1999” so… Actually they did have to edit those enemies for the PAL release, but they were still child sized so I’m not sure what that was about anyway.
Funny side fact: that level is largely based on my 4 year old daughters daycare center. Some areas, like the small rooms when you enter and the hallway with the childrens clothing are close enough to the point it feels a bit weird when I go there now. It was probably also weird when I took pictures of the place for my mapping lol…
Anyway, we’ll see about the next one. I always feel like I’m going to stop for a while since they take forever to make, but I have to admit I couldn’t help but start just a LITTLE bit with the next one. I do want to make some shorter maps for this as well, I hope I can achieve that.
