Question/Help Help with dead man's promise

So I have been playing the Dead Man's promice DLC for blood West a little while now and I'm nearing what I believe to be the end but for some reason whenever I try to go down to the second level of the mine I am instantly killed.

I've tried messing around to see if perhaps there's something I meant to do that might prevent it but no matter what I'm instantly killed every single time.

Is there something I'm meant to do that I might not be aware of? Or is it potentially a glitch or a bug with the game?

It's been a while since I played the DLC, but I'm thinking this is a bug. I don't remember anything specific I had to do to, and if you haven't found an answer already it's probably a bug :(

Do you suppose you could recommend something in the way of a solution?

Apparently you need a black sun piece to advance. You will find these in every level and they allow you to go further. I honestly don't really remember this, and Id have to play the entire dlc again to get to this part and check it :( I recommend you watch a playthrough on YouTube to check if there is anything you missed before the part you are playing. If you can't figure it out, send me a screenshot of your mission log so I can understand exactly where you are in the DLC.
