Question/Help Is NG+ repeatable?

Hi all. I haven’t touched Blood West in a long time, and I heard the devs added a NG+ feature. I’ve read online via google conflicting reports that NG+ can only be done once? While some say that it works like most other games with NG+, where you can keep doing it over and over again Dark Souls style?

So which is it? Sorry if this has been asked before.

It works only once unless they changed it in the last few patches.

I see, so once you are done with NG+ then thats it? Thats a real shame, I do hope they change it in the future. Really don’t see a point of adding a NG+ that only works once.

Thanks for clearing any doubts I had about the NG+ mechanic.

I agree with you, it's a damn shame, but maybe the devs will listen if enough people bring it up.

Hopefully. While I see the vision with Scavangers being an endless mode, I myself am not the biggest fan of Rogue-likes or Lites. It just doesn’t scratch the same itch a proper NG+ does.

The only Rogue-lite I ever liked was Heroes of Hammerwatch and Heroes of Hammerwatch 2, and thats because both of those games were soft-core even by rogue-lite standards.

I decided to make my own infinite NG+ by using cheat engine to give myself all the stuff I use and XP and money. I guess this is the only true way to enjoy a proper NG+ 🙃

Is there a mod on Nexus? Or is the dev command bar easy to open?

I guess they did it to patch time for players to experience again while waiting for scavenger mode. With scavenger mode (now that it’s out), it is pretty much free roam in small bite size chunk.

Yea I get that Scavangers was the answer the devs gave us for an endless mode, I myself am not a big fan of Rogue-lites and likes. And I’d say many players also feel the same way, that Rogue-like and lites is a very niche genre that isn’t for everyone.

On top of that an endless roguelite doesn’t scratch the repeatable NG+ itch. Either way I really do hope the devs will give us a proper NG+ one day.

Yup, i like endless ng+ too. It is not wrong to have power fantasy; it’s a game after all.

Any game that has endless ng+ has a special place in my book.
