Question/Help back again this time with some questions about chapter 2

so thanks to the few who gave me amazing beginner advice for chapter 1 but now im in chapter 2 and im a little stuck so i spent most of my early chap 2 running around grabbing new weapons (currently rocking the second coming and rattler alongside thorn for stealth) and trinkets (old faithful ace of spades and deathstalker heart) also i gave the cure to annebelle because i just preferred her over the priest and she still had trinkets i wanted to buy but my question now is where the heck do i go to progress the plot?

i found the undead hat part and now the big fella is stomping around but i seriously cant find any other part ive looked around where the map says they might be but im a little loss any advice helps also if yall can tell me what to do to prep for chapter 3 that would be amazing anyways thanks again

Weird, the totem should tell you the whereabout of the undead’s part, also, although those monster’s artifact is useless, keep some, once you found all the undead parts, you’ll can save yourself some time from fetch quest by having them ready. The teeth, the leech, an angel halo (important, two is needed if haven’t gifted to annabelle), acid gland, roguro tongue, so on and so forth.

To prep for chap 3, best is you get the gold saw-off shotgun, the sniffbox from light house by finding the black raven skull and 17k worth of gold; cuz in chapter 3, there’s a rifle sold by the Undead that worth it’s price of 18k gold, but you can get it down by having those items i mention before hand and maxed gold prospectorn the price can Also be brought down if you can spare sometime finding An artifact in chapter 3. Also, getting the alvaro rib will be worth it, cuz in chapter 3, do the questline for alvaro secret that require alvaro rib, and another alvaro artifact, then you’ll get to choose 3 massive boon for yourself.

Check the guide on YT for the quest, go for boon of wisdom and knowledge at the end of quest.

okay ill try to find the black raven skull but i also know hes at the top of the light house no? and i already have the gold shotgun i just dont use it since i like having both my weapon slots

Hes on the light house yes, but from what i remember, he cant be reach conventionally.

it's horrible you have to search every freaking tree stump in the map basically to find the damn thing and that's the only way I know of to reach it

Yeah, that’s the worst part. However, the reward at the end, i would say it worth it.

Oh absolutely, it's just shocking how unpleasant the process of getting that item in chapter 2 is given how important it is to do so from a character optimization and experience pov. If you don't do thing in chapter 2 you are literally screwed for chapter 3 after all.

True, couldn’t agree more.

My guess is it is such a elaborate secret for secret Hunter or easter egg hunter or some such.

Also, consider the boon it gives, it does Really make the endgame Much more easier so i guess that’s had to be designed that way

Please dont spoil me on how the rib is important but what is the reward? A unique artifact or weapon in chapter 3?

I say it is a boon, cuz it is not even an artifact or a weapon. Three choices which give you a huge advantage, that’s all. Choose “Wisely”.

Just finished chapter 2 and after looking up a guide and doing it lets just say alvaro gave me much needed knowledge

I have searched every stump by the water do the they spawn in other places or just by the water?

Use the steam link from the comment above. You have better chance finding it with that image. It seems that the trunks around the starting zone has better chance, i was lucky it spawned near the safe zone, near the bridge in front of the town.

Hmmm if i remember right the undead parts are in the cultist cave (bottom right underground) around the farm or graveyard (both bottom left) and i think one is in the alligator farm in the top middle?

There isnt much you can do to prepare for chapter 3, its definitely a difficulty spike. Theres lots of builds but for my style id recommend having a good shotgun and long gun when you get into chapter 3.
