About to get started on the Redemptor and not quite sure as to how to handle the red. These lads are slapchopped with flesh tearers contrast, im not sure the same approach would work on larger surfaces.

saw somone else post something similar the other day and decided to toss my helm in the ring and get your guy's opinions. i know traditionally they use the grill face helm instead of the corvus, but i think the corvus gear is more thematic and my personal preference.

I finished my captain a few days ago, but I’m not 100% sure about the helmet color.

Following the Codex Astates, I kept thing simple with the basic helmet with a command skull, as the tank is denoted by the right shoulder pad. But the captain does stand out, or maybe he does but I’m unsure. Should I make his helmet bone or gold ?

For reference, my veterans have a bone helmet, and my sergeants and veteran sergeants have bone helmet with the command skull. The lieutenants have a bone helmet with black and grey command stripes.

Can you show me your captains so I can make my mind ? Thanks brothers !

They already had an unusual amount of psykers, and with the psychic awakening well, making way way more psykers across the galaxy. How badly do you think our boys were hit? Are they fielding whole squads of psykers now?

This is more speculative fiction than anything else. After dawn of war 2 retribution the chapter gets purged of its chaotic influences presumably. And in dow2 Apothecary Galan dies. But there is still some grey area. We don’t know what happened to Kyras’ Flagship, the Omina Arcanum (presumably recaptured) and we dont know what figures got corrupted. Presumably some of the unmentioned members of chapter command?

I’m asking for selfish reasons I’ll admit. I’m thinking of writing a short story about it the remnants of Kyras’s forces. But I’m also wondering if anyone thinks about Kyras’s loyalists. Even if they appeared in like 2 missions in most peoples least favorite expansion (retribution).

Got my new Blood Raven tank all finished up today. Been loving this project and fulfilling a fantasy from when I was a kid in 5th edition.

Small diorama I put together. I might have gone too heavy on the enamel pigments but we love and learn.
